Dublin Podcast Festival - September 19th to 30th
HeadStuff & Aiken Promotions are proud to present the first ever Dublin Podcast Festival featuring a stellar line-up of international and homegrown live podcast events, discussions and workshops taking place in various venues in Dublin City, covering everything from crime to food to music to literature to football, film, comedy, and so much more.
We will have events based on some of the most listened to Podcasts in the world including:
Brian Reed, the host of the This American Life produced hit murder mystery podcast S-Town will join us for an evening at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
The surrealist wonderland of Welcome to Night Vale will come to life on the stage on the National Concert Hall.
Rebel actor/rapper/poet Scroobius Pip will finally bring the brilliant Distraction Pieces podcast to Dublin.
Elsewhere we’ll have a brilliant double-bill of the Radiotopia produced Criminal and The Memory Palace in Vicar Street.
Also in Vicar Street will be the hit British comedy podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno.
Jarlath Regan will host a very special episode of An Irishman Abroad as he interviews special guest writer and national treasure Roddy Doyle.
Senior Podcast Producer at the Guardian Ben Green will be presenting a masterclass in Podcasting in association with ConArtist.
James Richardson of Guardian Football Weekly & Football Italia fame will present a Film podcast in association with ConArtist for the essential Little White Lies Magazine focusing on the cult film classic Alien.
Soccer pundit Graham Hunter in association with ConArtist will present the Big Interview with very special guests focussing on the Republic of Ireland World Cup qualifying campaign.
